Melrose library

The Melrose Public Library underwent an exciting renovation that included a modern addition. In July 2021, the City of Melrose secured $8.1 Million in grants from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners for this endeavor. The project aimed to replace the outdated 1960a-era addition with a more accessible, energy efficient space. This revitalized library will serve as a valuable community resource for generations to come.
